October 8, 2063... That's just disturbing... For one... I would live to see my daughter turn 61 and then 2 days later... I'll die at the age of 82... Wow. That's spooky.

I think this is just analysis to make sure you are on the right road. It's good to question. I'm getting some white hairs, now unlike gray, I'm hoping my entire head goes white so I don't have to bleach anymore!

as little girls we all have a fairy tale of how it is suppose to be....
some girls have it all planned out, others just have an idea of how it could be. However the faiy tale may go- the real reality is this-
this is your fairy tale, right here right now.
I am right where i am supposed to be. Good bad or ugly- this is IT.
Right here today is where i am supposed to be, i hold onto that, i enjoy the moment and try to stay in the present and not look to the future or look back into the past.
gray hairs are just a sign of wisdom peeking around the corner- the older i get, the more i am open to learning new and wonderful things about myself and my world.
30 was good, 40 was great, and well 50- freakin rocks!!!
much love to u tiffany- you look beautyful darlin.....

@ Tiffany...you've done an amazing amount in 40 short years...don't forget we're our own worst critics....as for the screen writing part, nice but overrated, they go on strike sometimes....self employed don't.

As a note, we manage the $$ of the banks uber rich, not a single professional writer among them....lots of entrepreneurs tho

as for the greys, I have tons! they popped up when my mum passed away and have been breeding like bunnies since then, stupid fuckers. I hate em Evil or Very Mad

As for that clock, play with the modes, if I'm optimistic I'm living to 105, if I'm normal 79 and if I'm sadistic, I died 4 years ago Shocked sure puts a new meaning on Post-retirement Twisted Evil

Jay Z said 30's the new 20. And he's right! The media is full of people who are living it up and staying hot infinitely. No reason why you can't be one of them.

This world is only what we choose it to be. Remember the idea for rockers was ending at 30s well look at the Stones and even more. Rules are only for those of us willing to wear blinders.

What you've done so far is amazing. I have friends still working for 8 an hour. No motivation. The key is what makes you happy. You must be happy, working cheap but loving your job is cool. We are our worst enemy with judgement. So when that little voice is talking in your head think this way "if this were a friend talking to me would we still be friends".

Also understand miserable and broke doesn't work. Doing what you love and making what makes you happy does.

Don't you underestimate what you created. You made a new system for people but are underestimating the effect our hair has on us. How losing it and having problems with fighting to have hair that our bodies won't let us hurt us deep down.

OMG! I have been feeling so old and hopeless lately that I haven't even checked out this, my fave forum for i think 2 weeks or so. I mean, what's the freakin' purpose? Then i decide to finally take a look, and i just can't believe you are feeling the same, Tiff. I am 42, my grandma's are gone. My mommy died while i was pregnant with my 4 yr old. I am raising 4 boys all by myself with not much help at all and 2 of my boys have autism. I never thought this is where i would be at 42 years! I should own a salon, or going back to school, shit i don't don't know, but at times i feel so useless in this world. I know raising good kids is a great accomplishment, but i feel i've lost my youth and with it my idemtity. OK, Too much iformation! Just know, I am grieving the loss of my youth right along with you. I also feel a huge need to make some changes in my life. For one, getting off the Marlboro's!! Why is change so hard? Thank you so much for your post Tiffany!

Ah, T
I am so sorry you feel or felt this way, I hope your feeling better today
but
Your not alone, been there done that still reaching / searching / dreaming.
I think the core of happiness is "gratitude" to be thankful for everything we have.

Its always best to look for those miracles we find in humble places.
Don't ever stop dreaming, cause your ideas and creations as of right now
have brought you to this point, with out getting to deep here ,,,,, you will
now only be able to dream even bigger dreams and I believe you will reach them all
Always remember to live each day like its the first day of your life ......
Then...... when its the last day of your life.... It will be the best day of your life!

P.S. T,

I tell all my clients and salon owners about your method and will always be telling others
about your wonderful method / dream..

Yep, Tiffany has been a shining example to me as well of how to have a vision and turn it into a wonderful new product. She's also proof that you can be a success through giving high-integrity personal care and concern to your customers. happy

Singer, thanks so much, you are a sweetheart! Possibly I'm just a little pooped and need to rest. I've been going pretty much nonstop for the last couple years and I have to force myself to take a break here and there and I'm sure as soon as we warm up I'll get it all together Smile

Oh no, you guys! I just panned down a little bit and missed all these posts! Wow! I read through them all and really am touched at how you all "came to my rescue!" You guys are gonna make me drowning in my tears!

Tangles, I am truly touched by the words you send, thank you so much! To have so many friends! It's a huge gift! Val, your message of wisdom do alter my hopeless perspective, haha! Maile, even though it's not about money, I'm sure my children will one day appreciate that their mother didn't settle for "starving artist!" Missdana, it's always good to know you're not alone! Kids are draining for sure, aren't they?! It was so much easier raising babies in my 20's...

Ladies, you're all the best! Thanks for letting me vent and taking the time to such great messages and insight to feed me! Many blessings to each and every one of you!

My sister got gray hair when she was 22. She just colors her hair now. Her gray hair was long and wavy/wiry. It looks much better colored. Wait till the gray hair shows up in other places. I think its just our realization that were getting older, and we get the blues. I just try to think of movie stars who are older and look great. (w/w/out surgery). I think its all in how you feel. If u feel young youll act young. So what if u got a few gray hairs. Some people look fantastic w/gray hair. That one actor on Mad Men is a HUNK. I love that color gray hair. I wish I had that color hair.
I heard on tv that a little girl was going gray at 8 yrs old. Its all on how you feel.
On another note, I also really hate the commercials for wrinkle cream, and they always show a model like 24 yrs old and I think geesh, we all had great skin back then.
40 can be the new 30 if ur mindset is right.
